Feijoada - Brazilian Black Bean Stew

A traditional Brazilian dish, feijoada is a hearty black bean stew packed with smoky meats and served with rice. It's a flavorful and satisfying meal that will transport you to the streets of Brazil.

Steps

1. Soak the black beans in water overnight. Drain and rinse. 2. In a large pot, combine the black beans, sausage, smoked pork ribs, beef jerky, onion, garlic, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Add enough water to cover everything. 3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours or until the beans are tender. 4. Remove the bay leaf and adjust seasoning if needed. 5. Serve the feijoada over cooked rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
