Chinese Spiced Potato Wontons

Steps

1. Peel and dice the potato, then boil in salted water until tender (about 15 minutes). 2. Drain the potato and mash it in a bowl. 3. Stir in five-spice powder, garlic powder, salt, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined. 4. Place a teaspoon of the potato mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. 5. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold over to create a triangle, pressing to seal. 6. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. 7. Fry the wontons for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. 8. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with soy sauce for dipping.
